Interim Financial Accountant

I am currently looking to recruit a Band 7 Financial Accountant for a period of 3-6 months for an NHS Trust based outside of London.

We are looking for a qualified Accountant that will commit to this Trust for the whole duration required.

Main Duties include: 

• For subsidiary & charity:- Meeting the monthly and annual reporting requirements for, including:- preparing accounts & charity fundholder statements; committee papers, and attending those committees; preparing the subsidiary's VAT returns; managing charity fund applications.
• Trust Monthly Financial Accounts:-

Making ready the Trust's monthly Financial Accounts excel accounts package; uploading TB's and making mapping changes where required; completing some of the tabs within the package.

Preparing and reviewing the Trust's monthly VAT return, and dealing with VAT queries.

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll.

Attending month end meetings.

Year End Preparation

Working with the Head of Financial Accounts on preparing the year end timetable & delegation of tasks and applying to M9 reporting, so that a dry run of the accounts prep is carried out for M9.
