Your new role
This is an exciting time to be joining this well known organisation which has been going through a period of change.
The focus of the work is interesting and dynamic and will suit someone used to working in a fast-paced environment with excellent technical skills and communication /liaison/ partnering and questioning skills.

  • Managing and building a team - setting and monitoring performance goals and objectives, allocating resources and staff for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of audit reviews and programs.
  • Leading large audit teams in defining program parameters; providing guidance on audit reviews of the highest level of complexity.
  • Driving risk assessments, defining project scope, prioritising initiatives and determining resource needs.
  • Interpreting significance of audit findings, resolving highly complex issues.
  • Leading the development and implementation of recommendations and strategic decisions; identifying consequences of decisions on a regional or global level and developing appropriate solutions and areas for program improvement.
  • Setting or influencing audit strategies; leading strategic projects and corporate initiatives at the regional or global level.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You are likely to be a qualified ACA with a background gained in the Big 4 and have experience in Internal Audit/ SOX implementation in a global business.
  • You should have a complete systematic knowledge of audit standards and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, including goal-setting, conflict resolution, performance management, meeting leading, budget planning, problem solving, and evaluation.
  • Excellent project management and process development skills.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills, including both written and verbal forms catered to a wide variety of audiences.
  • This is a high-profile position with exposure at a senior level within the business and offers excellent future prospects.
