Accounts Assistant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant for a UK market leader based in Barnsley. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Rotherham, Sheffield and Wakefield.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a small team, duties will include:

Processing inter-company recharges, interest charges & reconciliations
Bank reconciliations,
Cash-flow forecasting
Group cash management
Reporting of overdue debt to insurers and of uninsured exposure to management
Processing employee expenses
Maintaining the purchase ledger
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Previous experience is essential
The ability to process large amounts of information quickly and accurately is essential
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are required
You must be IT literate with working knowledge of Excel
