Becoming a Senior Risk & Compliance Advisor with Capita Life, Pensions & Specialist:
A rare opportunity to join a market leader in the life & pensions sector & enjoy scope to progress & develop existing skills.
Purpose will be to provide an effective Risk and Compliance 2nd line of defence role to the allocated CIBS portfolio and engage with business management on Risk and Compliance.
What you will do:
Support the use of the CIBS Risk Management Framework and Protiviti system across the business in accordance with Divisional and Group requirements.
Support management with the development and maintenance of their Risk Registers
Assist management with the identification, analysis and evaluation of risks
Challenge management on risks that have been recorded.
Where required by the client assist management with the development of a Controls Risk Self- Assessment (CRSA) process.
Provider clear, pragmatic guidance and support to the business on regulatory issues.
Support the provision of regulatory compliance related training to the business as determined by the Risk and Compliance manager.
Your experience will include:
Solid compliance experience is essential, ideally within a life & pensions or general insurance environment.
Ideally some knowledge of relevant financial services regulations, risk management frameworks and risk reporting.
Ideally some knowledge of business continuity, information security and financial crime requirements / practices.
Education to degree level desirable.
Good Excel & Word skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
