With strong local competition the business have grown throughout various revenue streams and seek to appoint a Payroll Assistant to further bolster their already strong finance team.
Your New Job
Your duties as a Payroll Assistant will include working closely with the Payroll Senior in processing weekly and monthly payroll for all sites, using an outsourced provider in a timely and precise manner. You will maintain excellent working relationships with various payroll vendors and guaranteeing all payroll data is collected and administered, ensuring attention to detail is paramount. You will also be responsible for overseeing all company benefits as well as generating payroll and ad hoc reports. You shall have a sound technical payroll knowledge and have the ability to carry out manual calculations and statutory deductions. You will be adept at dealing with SSP and SMP duties, as well as ensuring that year-end processes such as P60s and P11ds are issued. Your payroll assistant background will enable you to be able to manually calculate N.I and tax.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
Our Client is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant with a proven track record of running payroll for a large team, both on a weekly and monthly basis. You will ideally be someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment, have exceptional attention to detail skills and is an excellent problem solver; with the ability to think on your feet. Your ability to deliver customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess a first-rate telephone manner. As a successful applicant you will have a working knowledge of both SAP and Sage.
