Your New Job
Reporting directly to the department Manager, your role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be to support the accounting staff with Accounts Payable and Bought Ledger. You shall be adept at managing the reconciliation of the purchase ledger statements and age credit report, whilst also correcting errors and approving invoices. You will be responsible for raising and processing of all invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all statements are entered onto the in-house accounting systems.
Your role will also include raising queries with suppliers and processing credit notes, as well as dealing with returns/debit notes. You shall also be accountable for the general administration duties, including; document scanning/filing and assisting the accounting department with other relevant tasks as required.

Your Experience & Our Requirements
Our Client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with at least 1 years’ experience in a similar purchase ledger role. You will have strong computer literacy skills, experience using an accountancy package and MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. You will also have good communication skills and have confidence dealing with suppliers and internal colleagues. You will have the ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace with strong attention to detail skills.
