The Opportunity:
This is an exciting 3-6-month contract for a Management Accountant to work for a private education provider. The company through high growth is opening several new sites and closing some older ones, the need for a competent accountant to come in and consolidate the accounts for these sites is apparent. You will be influential in the continued growth of the business, helping to bring clarity to the finances for each independent site. You will be working closely with an exceptional Financial Controller who has extensive experience working in high growth SME’s.
The Role:
- Prepare the management accounts and accounts for respective sites
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Automate processes wherever possible
- Credit Control, AP & AR
- Provide direct support to the Financial Controller
- Working extensively with QuickBooks
- Ad hoc finance
The Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- Exposure to working on QuickBooks is essential
- Hands on/ team player
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Exposure to very high growth businesses is also highly advantageous (Experience within SMEs)
