Your New Job

Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, your role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be to manage the accounts payable process from start to finish. You shall be adept at managing the reconciliation of the purchase ledger statements and age credit report, whilst also correcting errors and approving invoices. You will be responsible for raising and processing of all invoices in a timely manner and ensuring all statements are entered onto the in-house accounting systems. Your role will also include raising queries with suppliers and processing credit notes, as well as dealing with returns/debit notes. You shall also be accountable for the general administration duties, including; document scanning/filing and assisting the accounting department with other relevant tasks as required. You will continually support and contribute to the team achieving a world class service, knowledge, skills and experience.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Our Client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with at least 1 year's experience in a similar purchase ledger role. You will have strong communication and computer literacy skills, whilst possessing the experience of using an accountancy package such as Oracle or SAP. In addition, you'll be a competent Excel user and have the confidence to interact with suppliers and customers on a daily basis. You shall also have the ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace with strong attention to detail skills.
