Interim Financial Controller

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for an ambitious candidate to join their client on a Fixed Term Contract basis. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion within a time of change, hence the role being on a Fixed Term, however the business growth means this role has every possibility of extension.

As a new position, the role of Interim Financial Controller will be undoubtedly fluid, but you can expect day-to-day duties to include:

-Leading the finance control of a £50mil + turnover business unit
-General Ledger and new product costing
-Producing monthly management accounts; Monthly closing and analysis
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the period's financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and year-end)
- Delivery of half year and full year end audits (IFRS)
- Filing of UK statutory accounts
-Submitting UK Group tax reporting, ensuring timely tax submissions, quarterly VAT returns
-Balance Sheet Management
Process and control improvement
-Constantly generating additional value or achieve cost reductions on projects
-Ad-hoc projects

Skills & Qualifications:

-ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Experience working within manufacturing environment is highly desirable
-Project Accounting experience demonstrated on an interim basis is desired
