Finance Manager, Harrogate

Up to £47,000 + benefits

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a very well-established transport services provider based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire who require an experienced accountant to lead the finance team as Finance Manager. This is a high profile role reporting directly into the Finance Director.

Our client has been established for over 15 years and is expanding. They believe their success is in no small part due to the way they value their team.

The main purpose of the role is to manage all accounting processes and leading and developing a team of 4. You'll be part of the senior management team. Duties will include:

* Production of management accounts and ad-hoc analysis
* Reviewing balance sheets
* Reviewing and implementing new processes
* Assisting with statutory accounts production
* Support with annual budgets & forecasts
* Reconciliation maintenance
* Team management including recruitment and reviews

The successful ACCA/ACA/CIMA/QBE accountant will be proactive and motivated and have experience leading a team. A proven track record in finance is essential as well as advanced Excel skills and good working knowledge of Sage.
