They are now in a position where they require an Assistant Accountant on a temporary, part-time basis.


Your New Job

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be handling the monthly management accounts, ensuring that all financial matters are adequately communicated to the CEO and Board. You shall also be responsible for the day to day financial management of the business including, petty cash management, cashing up, banking and bank reconciliations. In addition, you will be managing the collection of invoice payments and debts (Sales & Purchase Ledgers). You shall also produce annual budgets, periodic forecasts, draft final accounts and other financial information for the organisation. You will ensure the payroll process and associated records are operated effectively, including timely payment of Income Tax, National Insurance and Pension Contributions. This job description is not exhaustive and the post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to duties which may be varied.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Our Client is looking for a knowledgeable and meticulous Assistant Accountant who has the experience to efficiently oversee the financial management of the organisation, supporting the CEO. You shall have at least 3 years’ experience being an Assistant Accountant, having the ability to work autonomously at times. You will have a high level of computer competency, participate and contribute generally to the organisations activities, attend meetings, training and conferences as required, and contribute to new systems as required by the organisation.
