ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by a distribution business in Derbyshire to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to join an exciting business who is currently going through a transformation. This role requires someone who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo, but also willing to get stuck into the requirements of the business and produce the necessary results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to and supporting the Group Financial Director
- Managing a small finance team.
- Working closely with operational departments and management teams
- Preparation of legal statutory accounts
- Delivering regular reports, detailed reconciliations of balance sheets and review monthly
- Authorisation of payments within specified limits
- Continuous review of financial processes and procedures
- Ad hoc duties when required
ESSENTIAL
- To have obtained an Accountancy Qualification - ACA/ACCA
SUMMARY
The successful candidate will need to need to be a qualified accountant with strong financial accounts and reporting experience, whist also possessing previous management experience.
