Commercial Analyst

A Commercial Analyst is required to join an entrepreneur-led, continuously-growing business based in Chester City Centre.


As Commercial Analyst, you will provide support in the strategic coordination of revenue management, reporting, processes and procedures. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Forecast sales and revenue targets
  
  
  
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports
  
  
  
• Maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
  
  
  
• Write quarterly board papers reporting on success and future initiatives 
  
  
  
• Support process and procedure delivery in revenue management
  
  
  
• Scoping out new technical requirements to the IT/BI areas
  
   

To be considered, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

• A 2:1 or above degree in Mathematics or similar STEM subject and a number of years experience in an analyst/ finance role.
  
  
  
• Experience manipulating and analysing large data sets. You will need to be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  
  
  
• Confidence in making decisions based on factual data
  
  
  
• Good presentation skills
  
  
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with confidence in communication at all levels of the business
  
  
  
• Excellent Microsoft excel skills
