Commercial Finance Manager

As part of a Reporting team of 7 the Commercial Finance Manager will play an important role in the provision of timely and accurate management information to a wide-ranging audience across the business.

You will have ownership of our online P&L and the growth of the company, especially our online business and the breadth of this role means that this position is expected to provide significant opportunity for development and increased responsibilities.

The Commercial Finance Manager will deliver timely and accurate monthly management information to the E-commerce team with commentary that compares performance to budget and prior year and explanation of trends. The role will also involve business partnering with the e-commerce and Marketplaces teams, holding monthly review meetings with the Head of e-Commerce and Head of Marketplaces to discuss the result and provide support for any queries they have. The Commercial Finance Manager will also identify drivers of overspend, prepare ad hoc analysis and develop recommendations to reduce finance risk.

The successful applicant will also develop and evolve month end reporting and analysis to better communicate financial performance to key stakeholders whilst developing stakeholder relationships across the Online and Finance functions.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and approximately 2-3 years PQE. Retail and e-commerce experience is preferable but not essential. It's important to be highly enthusiastic and self motivated to drive improvements in a fast paced environment.
