Senior Financial Accountant

I am recruiting for one of our top NHS organisations based in Central London on an interim basis of around 6 months. 

Responsibilities

The post holder will work with colleagues throughout the organisation to standardise and streamline finance processes throughout the organisation. The post holder will support teams in the provision of technical advice to ensure effective implementation of new processes.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Senior Financial Control Manager in delivering annual accounts and monthly finance reports
• Liaising with external audit and addresses queries
• Overseeing and reviewing control reconciliations and the clearance of reconciling items
• Managing of the organisations cash flow, advising on cash ordering and forecasts
• Responsibility for implementing action plans and recommendations from control weaknesses identified by external or internal audit

Qualifications/experience required 

• Part-qualified (CCAB/CIMA) and actively studying
• Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

Experience of managing a team of finance specialists
