A £bn turnover retailer based in central London is seeking a Commercial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a varied and interesting role in which you will support a key Head of Finance in respect to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis as well as ongoing commercial support.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading the financial planning forecasting and budgetary process - both from a long term 5 year perspective as well as shorter term
- Producing relevant finance information and associated commentary for presentation to creditors, shareholders, the executive team and other senior stakeholders
- Performing ongoing relevant financial modelling and analysis to include profitability and restructuring analysis in respect of key investment decision; cash flow scenario planning; Brexit impact; insight and analysis with regards to market trends
- Effective business partnering with the commercial teams across the international group to provide commercial insight and analysis when required
- Taking ownership of the weekly financial analysis of trading results for presentation to the Board
- Providing on going and ad hoc commercial support to senior management
- Playing a key role within corporate restructuring and transaction projects
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (or overseas equivalent)
- 3 years’ relevant PQE – ideally gained within the retail space but not essential
- Strong academic record
- Strong financial modelling and analytical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to working with senior management across both finance and non-finance functions
Salary and Contract
- £60,000 - £70,000 p.a.
- Permanent, full time contract
