Commercial Financial Analyst

A successful international retail and wholesale business is seeking an ambitious Commercial Financial Analyst. This is a perfect opportunity for a commercially focused analyst to join a multi-channel business in a popular and thriving central London location.

The Role

The Commercial Financial Analyst will work directly with a key Commercial Finance Director. The role offers huge exposure to senior management with the opportunity to input directly into key commercial decision making.

You will take on a variety of commercial and strategic responsibilities, including:

• Trend analysis in respect of region, product and channel
• Production of relevant comparisons across prior year performances, forecasts, budgets and region
• Provision of detailed trend analysis, utilising multiple data sources
• Support the Director of Commercial Finance to produce presentations to key stakeholders including Board members
• Assist with the Group consolidation of annual Budgets & quarterly Forecasts
• Support working capital analysis by reviewing the key drivers of group business trends
• Ad hoc project work
• Provision of additional support where necessary to the Directors of Corporate Finance and Strategy in respect of commercial finance projects - to include data modelling (using Access and Excel), analysis and presentation of information

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Accountant
• 3+ years’ PQE in a commercial role
• Passion for the sector
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong analytical skills

Salary, Contract and Benefits

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
• Permanent, full time contract
