Finance Manager

The SF Group is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a well known Manufacturing business in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established company who put their people at the forefront of their business. This role reports directly into the CFO.

Key responsibilities include:

- Management of stock and margins, maximising earnings and cashflow
- Manage standard allocations and recs
- Manage cashflow into the Business Forecast
- Manage a team of four, making sure PDP's are in place to conduct regular and through appraisals
- Manage debtors/credit control to ensure receipts are received and processed in a timely manner
- Manage Purchase Ledger to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner
- Keep a tight reign on cashflow, ensuring business expansion needs are met
- Introduce efficient and effective internal controls, ensuring expenditure is managed, and risk minimised
- Work alongside and support the Financial Planning, Analysis and Management Accounts teams
- Manage banking/ABL relationships to ensure efficient utilisation of the facility
- Provide holiday cover the Management Accountant and Commercial Finance Team when needed.

The successful candidate will be a qualified (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) accountant who possesses a strong Commercial Acumen. You will be a highly organised individual, adept at working to tight deadlines with the ability to produce a high level of work with exceptional attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills are a must, as are the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the business. A collaborative, positive approach is a must to be a success within the role.
