Financial Controller

Four Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join an award-winning Property developer based in Manchester city centre with an international reach.

Due to rapid expansion, they are looking for a bright, driven professional to join their team, who is keen to use and develop their technical accounting skills to provide high quality reporting and analysis of our property investments in a challenging and varied environment.

The ideal candidate will be working alongside a multi award-winning CEO in a fast growing and ambitious team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed timely
• Preparation of monthly management accounts (comprising full profit & loss account, balance sheet and cash flow with commentary)
• Preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts which enable accurate measurement against actual performance
• Forecasting profits, taxes, required investment and cash flow
• Providing support on financial appraisals and feasibility tests for investment opportunities
• Contributing the financials for quarterly and yearly planning
• Managing the relationships with external auditors, accountants, banks, and other advisors

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 3 - 5 years PQE
• Previous property business background is an advantage.
• Experience in managing legal issues and overseeing contracts is an advantage
