The Company
The client I am working with are a rapidly expanding wholesale distributor with 40 years' experience in the gate and door industry with offices based in Leeds.
Job
You will be responsible for all round accounting duties including:
- Sales and Purchase ledger management
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Maintaining Sage accounts records
- Processing payment runs
- Processing receipts and expenses and chasing/reconciling payment from clients
- Communicating with clients and internal team members
- Credit control
- Petty cash reconciliations
- Liaison between the company and nominated Accountancy Firm
- Regular review of budgets and reporting to management on key financial
- Respond to general telephone and email enquiries
- Liaison with 3rd part suppliers
- Coordinating expenses
- Supporting management with running of their diaries
You
In order to succeed in this role, you will be an excellent communicator with great attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise is a must as well as great knowledge of managing outsourced suppliers. Having an AAT qualification is huge benefit. Previous experience of Sage, Purchase Ledger, VAT, and Bank Reconciliation would be an advantage but is not essential!
