Your new role
Following a recent internal promotion my client have an exciting role where you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to medium sized companies. There is real diversity of companies in the portfolio so you can expect to be working some interesting clients. Duties of the role to include

* First point of contact for client needs and responsible for liaising with the other parts of the business such as legal, wealth, corporate finance to assist client transactions
* Review work completed by more junior staff, providing feedback and guidance where required. Monitor students studying and progress
* Attend client meetings to present financial information and financial statements results, answer questions and provide advice
* Identifying and managing planning opportunities and general business support for clients
* Working closely with the partners to develop the growth strategy for the practice
* Plan and conduct accounts and audits assignments for client. Responsible for ensuring all files are completed for Partner review
* Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
* Drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email
* Attendance of appropriate training courses and seminars
* Cross-group networking and identification of business opportunities


What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally ACCA/ACA qualified
* Previous experience in practice environment
* Proficient in MS Office (ie. Excel, Word, Outlook), Sage and Xero - desirable
* Experience of electronic accounting packages
* Familiarisation with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE
