  • Are you prepared to take on the CFO role, supporting the CEO and taking control of the full finance, commercial and back office operation to drive the growth?

I am currently representing a long standing client with a highly regarded international investor who has now recognised the need for a driven and corporate, finance professional to work with the CEO, Investors and Senior Management Team to grow the business to the next level after recent PE investment. The business has already experienced impressive commercial returns over the last 10 years and your role will strike the balance between operational and strategic to support the CEO in driving growth.

The business already has a strong, established team and this role is to provide a greater strategic input, operational development and enhanced connection between finance, the business and the investors.

You will be tasked with reviewing the existing finance processes, reports and controls and developing the commercial service that finance can deliver to the business - both in terms of business as usual and supporting the identification and maximisation of commercial opportunities.

You must also be a confident, proven self manager and self starter as the key Board members are geographically disparate due to the operational needs of the business. It is anticipated you are likely to be at an FC/FD level and keen for your first opportunity to be No. 1 in the finance function of a dynamic, modern, fast moving business where you back yourself to support the CEO, support the business and grow into a truly strategic role in a VC backed business with all the responsibilities and rewards that that may bring.
