Finance Manager

Partner Financial is working with a fast growing, highly successful retailer based in Central London. As the Finance Manager, you will be driven, ambitious and someone who thrives when given the opportunity to take ownership for key relationships both internally and externally.

You will be naturally inquisitive and looking to work for a business where you will own and develop the reporting within the business. Due to the ambitious growth plans, there will be opportunities for career development across the business as they look to create a ‘best in class’ finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the monthly management accounts, with commentary and analysis
• Preparing the monthly board packs for the Senior Management team
• Manging the cash flow forecast and the company’s balance sheet
• Managing foreign currencies and responsible for the VAT, CAPEX and OPEX management
• Analysing monthly commercial sales and assisting with setting margins for the business
• Assisting with the year-end audit and corporation tax
• Streamlining and improving processes and driving cost saving initiates
• Reporting to the CFO and managing and developing two Finance Assistants

The Successful Candidate will be:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Experience within Retail, Consumer or FMCG is highly advantageous
• A desire to join a fast-growing business
• An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
• A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
