This is a sole role working with the CEO who is a self-made success and essentially needs a right hand man or woman to steer the ship in the East London office. The role will be relatively transactional to start before ultimately in Spring 2019 they aim to hire an Accounts Assistant who will take that over so something to bear in mind.

 

Client Details

They are a design agency that specialises in Theming, Attractions, TV & Film. They are a global company that are project based with a presence in London, Birmingham, Barcelona, Shanghai and Dubai. They design the clients vision and install it - essentially a 360 process from start to finish.

 

Description

The key responsibilities include:

  • Debtors and credit control accounts
  • Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and paid on time
  • Responsible for purchase invoice processing and supplier payments, dealing with supplier queries
  • Producing accurate and timely information for reporting to CEO
  • Time-sheet analysis and preparing purchase invoices for contractors
  • Supporting monthly payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Reviewing the ledgers ensuring accuracy
  • Entering budgets onto Sage and keeping them updated for changes
  • Coordination and management of the Purchase Order system including integration with Sage
  • Providing ad-hoc project information to the Project team

 

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally be part qualified or actively studying ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong and confident personalities are needed with the use of initiative
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Sage Line 50 experience would be advantageous
  • Able to get to Stratford area

Job Offer
