Temporary Assistant Accountant - Chesham - £17 - £19 per hour
Your new company:
Your new Assistant Accountant Role will be with a company is a leading manufacturing company based in Chesham.
Your new role:
You will be reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the Finance Manager and Credit Controller in preparing monthly management accounts and enhances processes to enhance efficiency across the finance team.
on a day to day basis you will be able to come in and:
- Produce weekly cash reports and update cash forecasts for circulation to finance management
- Reconcile bank and petty cash accounts for all sites. Revaluation of overseas bank accounts and positing of journals as required
- Reconciliation of various balance sheets accounts monthly and post journals
- Run month end reports
- Assist the credit controller with sales ledger tasks and cash allocation
- Assist with completing month end. Ensuring management accounts are accurate.
- Completing statutory returns as required
What you'll need to succeed:
You will be immediately available or on a short notice period. You will be part qualified CIMA/ ACCA with good Microsoft Excel Skills. You will have experience in the private sector preferably of working in a manufacturing or software business and used the Oracle system however this is not essential. What you'll get in return In return you will be working for a market leading company earning a competitive hourly rate for at least a 6-month period. Free onsite parking.
