A powerhouse in specialist property investment across the UK and owning some of the best loved retail spaces in the country, this company have been blazing a trail in their industry for a number of years now. Based out of buzzing offices in Westminster, London, they are looking to expand their finance team, and take on a new group accountant to help them achieve their planned growth for 2019.

Description

• Production of management and statutory accounts for entities within the group
  
  
• Ensuring the effective implementation and following of financial controls

• Production of Group consolidated reporting at half year and full year

• Collaborate with Head of Tax with information required for returns and other filings
• Management of ledgers and control account reconciliations, including review of reconciliations performed by others within the team

• Manage the preparation of annual head rent reconciliations

• Review completion statements and turnover rent calculations

• Review bank reconciliations

• Review Group and entity cash flows

• Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns

• Support the production of budgets, forecasts and ad hoc models

Profile

• A newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant from practice
• An individual looking to forge their way into the property sector
• Someone willing to undertake a number of responsibilities
• A diligent team player
• Possesses proven experience in meeting deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
• Willing to throw themselves into a fast paced role with a fair amount of responsibility
