Financial Analyst

MERJE are currently partnered with a leading Financial Services organisations based in Cheshire to recruit a strong Financial Analyst to support the end to end regulatory reporting process across numerous returns.

You will produce regulatory reports on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis, covering reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority Bank of England and other relevant industry/government bodies.

The role:

• Document all key judgements to be reviewed by Regulatory Reporting Manager Production of Bank of England statistical reporting and FCA reporting; Engage with Business SMEs to obtain comfort over values reported in the Regulatory Returns Engage with Business SMEs to obtain comfort over values reported in the Regulatory Returns Maintain up to date documentation of interpretations and judgements and Standard Operating Procedures for the Group’s more complex returns

Key requirements:

Being a part or fully qualified accountant ideally you will have experience of regulatory reporting however candidates with strong analytical experience and desire to move into this area will also be considered.
