Finance Manager

A specialist manufacturing business in Newmarket, Suffolk are looking for a Finance Manager to join them for a full-time, permanent role paying up to £55,000 per year.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be joining an established business who offer exposure to new projects and the ability to develop professionally. Your core duties as Finance Manager will include:

• Overseeing and mentoring junior members of the finance team;
• Taking ownership of tasks such as monthly management reporting and cash management through to liaising with financial backers to discuss potential investment opportunities;
• Assessing cost controls as you make a positive impact in developing new reporting processes to allow transparency of the stock cycle throughout the business.

Core candidate requirements

The business wants to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

• Possession of an accounting qualification;
• Prior experience of working in a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential);
• Excellent time management;
• The ability to get the best out of junior staff while developing them; and
• Capable of conveying financial matters to non-finance colleagues.

Salary
The successful Finance Manager will be offered an experienced dependent annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000.
