To manage and run the Finance department, to help meet company targets for growth and profitability, and to contribute, as a senior manager, to the executive management of the company.

Client Details

My client is a manufacturing organisation based in the Huntingdon area.

Description

  • Responsible for ensuring monthly management accounts, quick results and various group reporting requirements (including cashflow forecasts) are accurate and produced in line with group and business requirements.
  • Responsible for the production of year end statutory accounts and agree finalisation with external
  • auditors/group.
  • Prepare/review the annual budgets for the above company and help write the business plan
  • Responsible for the Purchase ledger function for PE Generators and payment of suppliers
  • Help managers and staff to improve decision making and understanding by utilising the company's IT resource to write reports and provide information from ERP and other business systems.
  • Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.
  • Lead and manage ad‐hoc project work as appropriate such as the systems implementation project.

    • Profile

    Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant

    Excellent knowledge of ERP and other business systems

    Previous experience in a management role at senior level in a Finance Environment

    Proven leadership and ability to drive a team.

    Excellent problem solving skills.

    Project Management skills

    Analytical and methodical approach, attention to detail.

    Good communication skills (written and oral).
