Revenue Controller | Surrey | Up to £75,000 per annum + benefits

The Revenue Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting and controls surrounding the revenue recognition process. Transfer pricing, compliance, balance sheet reconciliations and month end close duties will also feature.
Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and developing a team of 6 heads
- Ensuring revenue is reported in accordance to the relevant standards (IFRS)
- Liaising with the business in resolving revenue related queries
- Principle point of contact with both internal and external auditors
- Identifying and implementing process improvements including the continuous review of financial controls
- Monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Signing off of inter-company payments through system and reviewing applicable journals
- Producing quarterly revenue packs
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA,CIMA)
- Technical revenue recognition accounting experience
- Exceptional, robust team leader
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience of applying IFRS
- Good working knowledge of finance systems and strong Excel ability
The successful Revenue Controller must have previous experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and an abundance of management experience. The Revenue Controller will also possess outstanding communication skills, attention to detail and a readiness to assume ownership over tasks. Previous IT sector experience welcome but not required.
