Senior Internal Auditor - 12 mth fixed term contract, Manchester Up to £50000

Large multi sector retail organisation, based in the centre of Manchester
Your new role
You will be part of a high performing team which has played a pivotal role in the success of this organisation. As Senior Auditor you be responsible for a portfolio of projects across a variety of business areas. You will ensure that effective risk management processes are in place, reviewing controls and advising on any required changes.
You will be required to provide challenge, as well as influence colleagues ensuring remedial actions are implemented. You will deliver reports to the business proving assurance and advice contributing the continual improvement strategy of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a background in audit, or risk, project management or potentially compliance. You will require an analytical mindset and work in a logical manner. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential, as is the ability to convey your ideas to all levels of a business. You should be confident working under your own volition with little or no guidance, as well as being commercially minded.
