Financial Controller

The Opportunity:

I am working with a dynamic, exciting and high growth technology business based in Manchester who are seeking a bright, energetic and ambitious Financial controller to lead the finance function and support the continued growth. You will form an integral part of the Senior Management team with specific responsibility for the full mix of financial management and reporting.

Alongside leading the division, you will be ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and controls and analysis for operational purposes. You will be working directly with a highly respected CFO who has led several businesses through exponential periods of growth through acquisitions and be a part of a local success story.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the significant growth of a highly acquisitive business
• Implementing financial and operational control improvements
• Extensive Due Diligence
• Integration of multiple acquisitions
• Monthly management accounts and Statutory accounts
• Inter Company accounting
• Manage cash, company assets and foreign currency transactions
• Provide financial leadership and advice, along with general business counsel to contribute to the achievement of company objectives
• Leadership of the finance function
• Developing financial models and systems to ensure they are compatible and suitable to sustain business growth

The requirements:

• Candidates must hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification
• M&A experience including Due Diligence and integration
• Motivated to achieve strict deadlines and milestones
• Experience within a high growth technology business is desirable
