My Client is currently looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join an already established Corporate Development team based in Paddington. the role sits within one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in Europe and the business sits firmly on the FTSE 250 list.
The business is currently undertaking a significant transformation and is looking to grow through aquisition and portfolio optimisation.
the key responsibilities for the role include,
- Leading the mergers and acquisitions process end to end
- Negotiating with external parties
- Managing and coordinating the due diligence and reporting around the M&A activity
- Produce and review post-deal performance reviews
- Lead analysis and modelling in relation to mergers
- Produce Board and Senior Management reports on M&A activities
the ideal candidate should have the following background and abilities,
- Accountancy qualification, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- At least 3+ years PQE within a BIG 4 Corporate Finance team or a Boutique advisory firm
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Experience with clients from a distribution environment is favourable but not essential
