Head of Finance for a growing public sector enterprise based in Mid-Kent.

Your new role
Working under a newly formed group, you will be responsible for leading and energising a team of accountants, responsible for the day to day financial operations alongside continuing to aid some transformation projects within the business.

You should demonstrate a recent history of leading medium to large finance teams ideally within the charity / not for profit / housing sector, and alongside producing accounts under SORP 102, handling activities around -

• Financial Controls
• Developing internal / external relationships
• Managing external Audit
• Ensuring reporting deadlines met
• Tax / VAT POC

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Sound recent knowledge of SORP (FRS 102)
• Managed a finance team in recent roles
• Thorough knowledge of production of statutory accounts
