Finance Analyst

A market-leading manufacturing business in Sandbach, Cheshire are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them on a full-time, permanent basis working 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. This Financial Analysis role offers up to £45,000 per year plus a range of excellent benefits.

Responsibilities of your new role

As Finance Analyst you will support the Head of Finance to control and improve the profitability of the business through the continuous monitoring and improvement of all financial and operational aspects of performance. Your core duties as Financial Analyst will include:

• Production of Monthly Income Statement and associated commentary.
• Preparation of the monthly direct labour and indirect labour report.
• Analysing monthly PPV, Material Variance and Labour Variance and make recommendations.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly sales reports.
• Performing margin analysis on customer orders and challenging the sales team.
• Developing a detailed understanding of business performance factors and supporting the Head of Finance in driving improvements in efficiency, service and performance.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting opportunities.
• Supporting the creation of a range of financial and non-financial operational metrics.
• Working alongside the Financial Accountant to review all working processes within the business.

Candidate requirements

To be considered for this Finance Analyst role you must demonstrate:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification;
• Experience in a similar analysis role; and
• Experience working within a manufacturing business.
