Head of Finance

A Head of Finance is required to join a dynamic and growing not-for-profit organisation in Manchester. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this role pays up to £58,000 per year. The role will involve the management of a finance team within a regulated environment to utilise both strategic and operational skills.

Key responsibilities of your new role

Your primary responsibilities as Head of Finance will include:

• Leading on the preparation of statutory accounts
• Manipulating large volumes of data for multiple scenarios
• Management of the ledgers
• Working on group budgets and the consolidation of group budgets
• Preparation of management accounts
• Completion of regulatory and statutory returns
• Calculating and allocating overheads for external and internal reporting

Required qualifications, skills and experience

To be successful in your application to this Head of Finance role you must demonstrate:

• CCAB qualified
• Experience in a not-for-profit organisation
• Excellent capability in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, plus high-level IT skills in general
• Significant experience of leading on statutory accounts
• Report writing skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
