Investigo are currently partnered with a global engineering business based in central London who are looking to add a Senior FP&A Analyst to their growing FP&A function.
Main duties of the role include;
- Support the Head of FP&A in delivering the budget and mid-term planning process including developing guidance, holding business reviews, communicating with the senior leadership team and preparation of presentation materials for key stakeholders.
- Support with the review of monthly management accounts, providing timely insight to senior management including any impact on full year results while maintaining reporting control of the detail in each area of the UK business.
- Support with the budget and mid-term report, coordinating the inclusive of key analytical insights enabling management to understand the financial implications of all core assumptions.
- Support with the financial management of Direct cost centres including analysis of cost absorption variances.
- Acting as a key decision support for the non-financial stakeholders, including attending regular monthly business partnering meetings. Being seen as leading the engagement with senior cross-functional stakeholders to generate value and embed change.
- Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant (preferably ACA, CIMA), with a proven commercial finance background in similar roles.
- IFRS15 or experience with long-term accounting principles
- Experience in recharge cost absorption environments
- Previous experience gained in a global corporate in the manufacturing or other long-term project based industries (Infrastructure, Mining etc).
- Proven ability to communicate complex information to non-financial stakeholders
- Previous experience in an FP&A function in a global environment
- Dynamic individual, able to manage in a fast changing environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Occasional travel to other UK sites as well as internationally
- Technically strong with a willingness to get hands-on where necessary
- Strong system skills, able to generate insight by using systems smarter.
- Able to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in order to drive change.
