Randstad Accountancy & Finance is working with a organisation in the Potters Bar area who are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Management Accountant to join their vibrant finance team.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability of producing Management Accounts in a multi-site environment and will take responsibility for monthly reporting and working with the budget holders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist cost centre managers in the controlling of costs within their cost centres.
- Building efficient and effective working relationships with non-Finance staff to assist them as required in the financial control and understanding of their departments.
- Providing support and analysis to add value and influence future decision making for new ideas and reviewing current performance.
- Produce management accounts and other analysis / reports for these cost centres
- Work with the finance team to ensure that accounts are produced accurately, with appropriate controls particularly with regards to Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist the Financial Controller in the production of innovative and insightful analysis.
- Provide support to the Financial Controller in the Budgetary Process and assist where required.
Skills & Attributes:
- Qualified (CIMA, ACCA) or an ambitious part qualified will be considered
- Experienced in a fast paced environment
- You must be an experienced management accountant with initiative who can demonstrate their knowledge with monthly reporting
- Strong communications skills and can communicate with non finance colleagues
