Clarity have exciting growth plans, and as a result of our continued growth we are now looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. This key role will work to produce management accounts, budgets and management information, and will support the FC and CFO in all aspects of Finance as required.

On a typical day our Management Accountant will;

  • Support the Financial Controller & Financial Reporting Manager in all aspects of the month end close
  • Support periodic management accounts/variance analysis in accordance with agreed deadlines and controls
  • Support monthly and quarterly group consolidation including group reporting pack collation and submission
  • Assist in the preparation and production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts including cash forecasts in accordance with agreed deadlines. Challenge management and assumptions appropriately to ensure budgets and forecasts are accurate.
  • Take responsibility for the balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
  • Support the FC to ensure a consistent approach to accounting policy across the Mawasem Group.
  • Support the FC to ensure a consistent approach to financial policy, procedure, compliance and controls across the group.
  • Assist in the improvement and development of relevant and accurate management and accounting information delivered to operational management and heads of department.
  •  Liaise with management to resolve information requirements and queries as and when they occur. Provide financial support to non-finance managers.
  • Establish good working relationships with internal and external functions. Attend meetings as appropriate and provide ad hoc reports to all levels of internal and external clients as required.
  • Complete investigatory work on files and examine data when required for audit, human resources or government body.
  • Prepare VAT returns

Our Successful Management Accountant will;

  • Be a qualified or part qualified accountant
  • Have excellent Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and Accuracy 
  • Knowledge of back office systems, data warehouse system, or a willingness to develop these skills.
  • Experience in manipulating and managing large quantities of data using Excel or similar too
  • Excellent customer service skills and the drive to deliver first class standard at all times
  • Enthusiastic and proactive with a friendly positive manner
  • Clear communication skills by phone, written and verbal
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to think logically and consider relevant aspects, with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage work load under stress, to plan and re-organise projects to meet deadlines.
  • Business Travel industry knowledge and understanding of sales policies and processes would be an advantage
