BTG Finance & Accounting have been retained by one of the UK's leading brands within the retail industry.

We have been engaged in the search & selection process for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to manage the UK North Region, and help drive efficiencies and effectiveness optimisation across all revenue streams.

This is a Financial Planning & Analysis role, which will see the successful qualified accountant, support stakeholders across the business, and help project "Value Add" to all area's.

The Role

The focus of this role is profit optimisation, and therefore, the position requires a commercially focused FP&A / Finance Business Partner who will support key stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Sales and Creativity teams. This is a true interface role, where you will enjoy full autonomy in the commercial engagement of Finance, while managing the full portfolio budgets.

Area's which you will support the business include:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting for 2019, 2020, 2021
  • 3 & 5 year plans for future trends
  • Divisional cost based scenario planning & modelling
  • Business Strategy - Identifying area's of growth through organic and acquisition
  • Appraisal and Analysis of Commercial Contracts

This is a true Business Partnering role, which offers a high level of senior engagement across a multifunctional business.

Your Profile

  • Qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • Reporting directly to a PWC National Prize Winner, applications from an ACA background will be able to relate to the business methodologies
  • Excellent Communication skills and experience of working in a highly communicative environment. Experience of tailoring financial information to specific audience will be of real benefit.
