A large global Insurance business with a significant presence in the Lloyd's market are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to lead their dynamic team for a 6 month interim period.
As the Technical Accounting Manager your key focus will be to provide technical subject matter expertise for IFRS 17. This is to include assessing the impact of IFRS 17 on the business, determining the company's key requirements and also supporting the implementation of any required changes to data, processes and systems.
This Technical Accounting Manager role will also encompass elements of support with various other financial and regulatory reporting changes, including controlling the Group's reporting framework. This position will liaise with a number of key stakeholders within the organisation therefore, strong communication skills will be paramount.
Qualified Accountant from a strong technical accounting background essential. The incumbent must be competent in IFRS and preferably SII and UK GAAP. Insurance and team management experience are also a pre-requisite.
