An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high growth, Private Equity backed software business. This business is one market leaders in what is the fast growing and exciting sector right now and has been recognised and one of the business to watch in multiple industry lists. Following recent Private Equity backing they are looking to bring in an ambitious FP&A Manager to lead the commercial development of the finance function.

In this role you will be liaising directly with the CFO and will be in regular contact with the Private Equity investors. In addition to taking responsibility for financial analysis, business planning and partnering, and financial projects. Other responsibilities include

  • Leading and overseeing the FP&A function, consisting of 4 qualified & part qualified personnel in Commercial Finance.
  • Ownership for coordinating and delivering the quarterly reforecasts and annual budgets:
  •  Planning, reviewing and challenging of brand and overhead budget submissions, balance sheet & cash flow modelling, preparation of Board presentations.
  • Provide robust and detailed interpretation of financial analysis to enable the business to take timely action/decisions and achieve targets.
  •  Identify actions to drive commercial opportunities and mitigate risks.

This is an incredibly forward-facing role where you will be regularly liaising with senior management across the business as well as acting as the finance point of contact to external stakeholders and for commercial decision making. Other requirements are:

  • ACA/ICEAW/ICAS qualified or equivalent.

 

 

  • Previous experience in working in a Senior Commercial role.

 

 

  • Previous experience in a highly acquisitive environment.

 

 

  • The ideal candidate will have previous Private Equity experience
  • Have worked extensively in high growth SME’s
