Management Accountant

Company Accountant job working in a small family run organisation based near Salisbury, £30-33,500

Your new company
A well established and secure family business, with close-knit team, based in stunning rural location. They are seeking a new Company Accountant to join their management team, supporting the Owner and Directors with the day to day running of the business from an accounting perspective.

Your new role
You will be a key individual within the team, responsible for all of the accounting from ledger processing, payroll, VAt returns, monthly management accounting and the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with internal controls. This is a hands-on role, requiring strong attention to detail, strong commercial acumen and a flexible attitude to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a hands-on role including management accounting ideally within a small company environment.
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbally.
IT literate, particularly with Excel and knowledge of Xero would be an advantage.
The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
