An amazing opportunity for a high calibre Finance Analyst to join a large, fast-paced organisation in Surrey. You will support a senior member of the Finance team undertaking a variety of tasks, primarily including reporting, liaising and providing information and support to other areas within the Group. This is an exceptional opportunity as it interfaces with various stakeholders in a large well-known organisation ad will suit a practice trained accountant looking to make a first move out of practice into industry.
To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:
- Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong SAP and Excel.
- Proven record of working directly with a blue-chip organisation.
- Identify and implement improvements and robust solutions where needed across the business.
- Team player, pro-active self-starter and highly motivated.
A little more information about the role:
- You will be responsible for managing the book of accounts, mainly focusing on stock and cost of sales.
- You will also be involved in ensuring that all ledgers are presented accurately as well as, implementing any other improvements.
- You will be accountable for completing various reporting-based activities.
- Provide analysis to the finance business partners to support strategic company goals.
- Make recommendations and implement improvements with regards to business processes and controls.
- Report P&L variances that arise with a focus on stock, which will include business partnering with operations.
