Cash Flow and Banking Manager/Accountant

Cash flow and Banking Manager/Accountant in York required for a fast paced, well established business who have strong company values & excellent staff benefits. Salary up to £50,000 + car/allowance + 38 days holiday inc stats.

THE JOB:

This is a stand-alone management level position where you will be a key member of the Finance team liaising with all areas of transactional finance in order to ensure the business is in the best position in relation to cash flow management to facilitate key business decisions. The job role will include:

• Taking ownership for forecasting and managing our short-term and long-term cash flow providing the Senior Finance and Executive team with vital weekly reporting to enable business decision making
• Building and nurturing the businesses relationship with the bank, managing the bank and ID facilities and working collaboratively with corporate forecasting and accounting within finance function
• Coordinating the daily activities of the finance team to ensure all ledgers are updated to enable maximum daily draw down funding
• Seeking to identify opportunities for cash flow improvement whilst being responsible for maintaining, improving and developing the cash flow forecasting model and processes.

THE PERSON:

• Proven experience of working at a senior level with in a fast paced business
• Experience of managing treasury and banking for a business
• All round knowledge and experience within Finance/Accountancy
• Strong relationship builder
