A high-growth financial services SME is hiring a Deputy Financial Controller to support the Finance Director. Based in Surrey, this entrepreneurial company has a dynamic culture, strong client base and highly experienced executive management team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, duties include:
- Delivery of management and statutory accounts in a multi company/consolidation environment
- Supporting and developing a small team
- Business Process improvement
- MI reporting
- Lead new GL implementation/migration, liaising with Head of Delivery/broader project team
- Day to day cash management and forecasting
- Administering funding interest payments
- Administering and accounting for changes in investor base
- Accounts payable management
Candidate profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
- Advanced Excel
- Strong communicator
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work at pace & self-starter
- Prior Financial Services experience will be a distinct advantage
