Senior Reconciliation Accountant

The Senior Reconciliation Accountant will work within the Finance Shared Services Department within M Group Functions leading a team of two Reconciliation Accounts on a ten-week project to review and cleanse the Balance Sheet.

The focus will be on migrated/unsubstantiated balances within the following Balance Sheet areas:

• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Deferred and accrued income
• Payroll
• GRNI
• Sundry creditors/debtors
• Bad debt

The Senior Reconciliation Accountant will be responsible for planning the workload for the team and providing weekly progress updates to the Leads in the Finance Shared Services Department on the cleanse.

To be successful in this role you will require strong technical balance sheet experience, a working knowledge of SAP and good leadership and communication skills with the ability to communicate and work with stakeholders and staff at all levels of the organisation.
