Finance Director

Finance Director - East Midlands - £100,000

Broster Buchanan has been tasked with securing a Commercial Finance Director for our prominent SME client based in the East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a highly profitable and growing business, working with the board to achieve their ambitious long-term objectives.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will have previous experience at this level and be a commercially minded Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) individual capable of successfully managing and growing a team, whilst supporting the wider business to achieve it's ambitious goals. The ability to be hands-on technically in all areas of finance is also important. Driving commercial understanding and decision-making across the business as well as ensuring appropriate controls and processes are in place will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the board to set the strategy and direction of the business and translating this strategy into detailed financial and operational objectives.Taking responsibility for the whole of Finance including all areas of management and financial accounting as well as company secretarial duties.Planning, forecasting, and budgeting.Working with the banks, auditors and other key external stakeholders.Supporting the Sales Director and commercial teams in terms of pipeline forecasting and overall revenue objectives and KPIs.Working with the board on setting corporate objectives and headcount planning.Cash managementAd-hoc commercial projects

Key Attributes:

Senior finance leadership experience.Commercially astute.Technically proficient in all areas of financial and management accountingQualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
