Management Accountant - Finalist £45k

Goodman Masson are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for one of the largest property owners in London's West End. This company have a portfolio of retail and shopping parks, leisure destinations as well as shopping centres. Our client are looking for a high achieving part qualified Management Accountant with a strong academic track record and ideally relevent experience.

Role

• Assist in ensuring the financial information for the portfolio is reported accurately and within agreed timelines
• Assist with preparation of management accounts to provide analysis of financial performance
• Assist with the review of quarterly forecasts and preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with asset managers and managing agents, including upload of forecasts and budgets into Agresso
• Support the continuous improvement within the team on efficiencies and processes, simplification, standardisation and systemisation
• Ensure monthly reporting requirements are met including upload of the client statement
• Preparation of rent free and capital incentive postings and subsequent quarterly forecasting
• Quarterly capital projects review and monitoring
• Undertake ad-hoc work and projects

Requirements

• CIMA/ACA part/newly qualified
• Strong academics
• Accounting experience in a busy, tightly managed business
• Knowledgeable user of accounting software. Prior experience of Agresso/Horizon advantageous
• Experience of working within teams to achieve a common goal
• Clear communicator, with an ability to present information in a logical and manner both orally and in writing
• Ability to work effectively with financial and non financial colleagues
