Interim Senior Financial Accountant

Partner Financial are working with global media organisation based in London who are on an exciting path of growth and acquisition over the next 12 - 18 months. They have invested heavily into developing their finance function from a structure and systems perspective but are still seeking support from a Technically Strong Accountant to support them with their year-end process.

The focus of the role is supporting the year-end process and this new appointee will be responsible for delivering several sets of statutory accounts for the head office entities and contribute to the successful completion and consolidation of the annual report and accounts.

The business is ideally seeking someone who has hands-on experience in delivering such assignments and proven track record in large and complex (international) group function. This person should not need much direction and should be self-sufficient in solving any arsing problems.

This is a high-profile role working closely with the Group Financial Reporting Manager and wider/regional finance teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Chartered Accountant from a Top-tier Practice
• Experience working with complex consolidations within a multi-national organisation
• Hands-on experience in producing statutory accounts for an international group
• Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
• Experience in managing or supervising a team
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
